Standard MDF | 9mm
Specifications
Standard 9mm MDF Board (Medium Density Fibreboard) is a commonly used particle board. It is made by mixing wood fibres, waxes and resins then hot pressing it to different thicknesses. Its main advantage compared to other particle boards and timbers is its clean finish and lack of natural imperfections. Additionally, our MDF boards are FSC Certified, making them extremely environmentally friendly. Due to its dense fibre body, MDF remains strong and holds its form if installed correctly. With massive stocks available, you can always rely on Builders Marketplace for all your MDF needs.
Practical uses of MDF Board include bathroom and kitchen furniture and skirting and window boards. Because our MDF is manufactured without grain or knots, it’s easy to apply paints and veneers to its face side for full customisation. This smooth surface also contributes to the ease of cutting screwing and gluing of the boards, as well as making them easy to clean and maintain.
Our Standard MDF is available in a variety of thicknesses (3mm, 4mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 15mm, 18mm, 22mm, 25mm) and multiple sizes. We can also cut any piece of MDF to your required size or pack together as many sheets as you need for your project. Delivery is offered or collections can be made from our depot for savings.
