Description

Standard / P2 chipboard is a general-purpose joinery product used in packaging and furniture manufacture it has a smooth sanded surface which is open grained therefore enables the board accept decorative finishes and veneers. It is manufactured using wood chips which are then glued together under high pressure to give you a smooth faced board.

It is frequently used in furniture and upholstery manufacture and offers good impact strength, but is not a board to be used in structural applications.
